The project involves software used for planning the construction and technical infrastructure of mobile facilities, such as mobile hospitals (e.g., autonomous, modular rescue centers made of containers and tents, with comprehensive medical infrastructure), for crisis and disaster operations. This software utilizes Microsoft Visio as a drawing engine to generate 2D and 3D views and plans.
Start: as soon as possible
Duration: 12 months
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment. It offers young professionals the opportunity to gain valuable paid work experience abroad in technical or business fields. Candidates should be EU citizens aged 18 to 28, including nationals of Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein. Interested candidates should register before their 28th birthday on the official website. At the Airbus site in Friedrichshafen, you will work on innovative projects, enjoy panoramic views of Lake Constance, and participate in various corporate sports and social activities.
Work-life balance is supported through a 35-hour week with flexible working hours. Mobile working is possible upon departmental agreement. International travel within Germany or abroad may be arranged with prior approval. You will work in a diverse, international environment, using modern technologies, and be an integral part of our team, participating in weekly meetings and networking opportunities.
The project environment:
This project involves software that ensures product readiness post-delivery, providing a collaboration platform for industrial partners and customers worldwide, even in infrastructure-poor areas. During the internship, you will help optimize existing software for web-based use, support web application development, adapt existing Domino applications, integrate HCL Domino in mobile environments, extend graphical user interfaces, troubleshoot issues, and learn new technologies.
Language skills: English required; German is recommended.
