What you will do

You are interested in society evolution and willing to support construction shift to sustainable solutions: Welcome to the heart of Volvo Construction Equipment, part of Volvo Group.

Are you interested in technology in general, and enjoy programming? We are looking for a VIE Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to this exciting and challenging journey towards sustainability and solutions for customer success.

Do you like working in a positive environment that has good energy? If your answer is yes, you are welcome to join us in Konz, near Trier (western part of Germany), close to France, Luxembourg, and Belgium.

Dedicated to compact wheeled loaders and compact excavators, you will support platform developments throughout the product lifecycle.

Your future team

As a diverse engineering team, the Electrical & Electronics (E&E) Systems team contributes to delivering embedded system solutions according to customer expectations.

We support product platform expectations with planning and implementation of embedded system activities such as software requirement reviews, software development and integration, software release, and testing (unit tests, integration tests).

We are on an exciting journey with disruptive technology shifts such as electromobility, automation, and connectivity.

Who are you?

You hold a university degree in E&E engineering, computer science, or a comparable qualification. Experience in embedded systems and/or software development is a plus. The team is international, so fluency in English is required. German skills are a plus or a willingness to learn.
