Your mission?

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will manage Computer Aid Designer (CAD) activities and deliverables on Electrical Domain in compliance with QCD commitments, apply electrical domain instructions, processes & tools, implement vehicle concepts, and perform 3D detail design of electrical cubicles, wire harnesses, mounting plates, and devices.

Your key responsibilities?

  1. Designing products taking into account project requirements (performances, manufacturability, serviceability, testability, etc.)
  2. Creation of 3D cable routing within a vehicle
  3. Creation of 2D assembly documentation
  4. Preparing and documenting Domain Design Reviews according to project schedule and following up the main open actions
  5. Respecting and/or allocating requirements and interfaces to Sub-Systems/equipment (Allocated volume, weight, location, 3PL, etc.)
  6. Analysing change request impacts on assigned zone and applying changes if the request is accepted

Key requirements:

  1. Degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or mechatronics
  2. Basic experience with MCAD tools, ideally in Catia V5 Electrical/Sheetmetal Design/Part Design
  3. Basic skills in Visual Basic and/or C++ or another comparable language
  4. Good communication and interpersonal skills including with third parties (customer).
  5. Time management and reporting skills.
  6. Sense of urgency/priority.
  7. Structured and organized with a hands-on approach.
  8. English and/or German operational in reading/writing and technical meetings.
