We’re ClickBait, a performance-driven affiliate marketing team creating high-converting YouTube ads using UGC for a variety of affiliate offers and DTC brands. We specialize in long-form, wide-format VSLs (Video Sales Letters) that are built to convert — not just entertain.

If you’re an editor who understands direct response, can work from a structured script or storyboard, and knows how to turn raw content into a compelling, conversion-focused video — this role is for you.

Role Overview :

We’re looking for a full-time long-form YouTube editor who knows how to turn a structured script and creator footage into a compelling, conversion-driven ad. You’ll work closely with strategists, scripts, and voiceovers, building videos that hold attention, spark emotion, and drive action.

This role is for someone who has edited 4+ minute direct response videos, ideally in the form of VSLs, YouTube ads, or landing page videos. You’ll be expected to own the full edit : pacing, transitions, b-roll, music, sound design, and delivery.

You won’t be micromanaged. We need editors who understand funnel stages, who can self-direct, and who don’t need 5 rounds of revision to get it right.

We often work with UGC creators and affiliate brands, so experience in these areas is a big plus. But what matters most is your ability to edit for performance, not vanity metrics.

You’ll Be Great in This Role If You...

  • Know how to structure YouTube ads with hook → problem → solution → CTA.
  • Have edited direct response content for DTC, affiliate, or health / supplement brands.
  • Understand VSL editing frameworks and how to hold viewer attention with tight pacing and emotional arcs.
  • Can work with scripts, voiceovers, raw footage, and a creative brief — and deliver final videos without hand-holding.
  • Know how to create engaging mid-to-bottom-funnel videos (not just awareness fluff).
  • Care about performance : CTRs, watch time, conversions — not just “cool edits.”
  • Are comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced team where deadlines matter and results speak louder than aesthetics.
