ING Wholesale Banking Germany specializes in corporate client services, extending beyond traditional financing to advise clients on sustainable and innovative financial projects with a start-up spirit and a forward-thinking approach. We are looking for candidates to join ING Wholesale Banking, one of Germany's rapidly expanding corporate banks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage acquisition, advisory, or structuring processes, ensuring the safe handling of client relationships and opening new business opportunities, especially with German multinational clients.
- Lead originations, enhance client pitches and advice, improve working capital solutions, and identify the most suitable WCS solutions.
- Handle commercial and credit approvals, negotiate legal terms confidently, structure transactions, and oversee the implementation process.
- Collaborate with global teams to maintain client portfolios, manage complex transactions such as GCR or Leveraged deals, and develop presentations, analytics, and processes.
- Manage administrative and operational tasks related to transactions, onboard Tier-1 suppliers, oversee KYC matters, legal updates, and lead process improvement projects.
- Serve as a central point for WCS transactions, acting as a key contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree, preferably in Economics, Accounting, or Finance.
- Several years of experience in a transaction-driven environment, with credit and advisory skills, and a strong background in Working Capital Solutions (RF, SCF) / Trade.
- Deep knowledge of the German/European trade and WCS markets, practices, participants, and instruments.
- Experience structuring complex multi-currency, multi-jurisdictional SCF and RF transactions.
- Understanding of financial and non-financial risks, risk appetite, and credit structuring against individual debtors or portfolios.
- Excellent skills in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills, results and deal-oriented, with a clear customer focus.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on attitude, and a 'getting-it-done' mentality.
- Excellent presentation skills, perseverance, and team spirit.
- Openness to cultural diversity in an international environment.
- Fluent in German and English, additional languages are a plus.
