Responsibilities

As Vice President Production Engineering, you will be responsible for establishing, leading, and developing the following teams/areas:

  • Plant structure planning & value stream mapping
  • Production project management (industrialization)
  • Production concepts & automation
  • Manufacturing process development
  • Machine and plant engineering
  • Work preparation & workstation design
  • Commissioning and launch management
  • Prototype construction
Your Tasks
  • Building, Leading, and Optimizing: Responsible for building and leading high-performing departments, ensuring the implementation and continuous improvement of efficient processes, and industrializing our products.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and develop teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Projects, Processes, and Resources: Plan, organize, and control all projects and processes, ensuring necessary resources are available and qualified.
  • Lean Management & Partner Management: Implement lean management across the value stream, collaborate closely with partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Reporting, Capex, Supplier Management: Report team performances to C-Level, oversee investment planning, and manage suppliers.
  • Strategy, Projects, Prototype Development: Ensure alignment with production strategies, make or buy decisions, and oversee development projects and prototypes.
  • Know-How, Technology, DFMA: Foster knowledge exchange, ensure technology standards, and implement DFMA in development projects.
Candidate Profile

Education: Degree in production engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or related fields.

Experience: Several years of successful experience in implementing and optimizing production sites, processes, and cost reductions, with proficiency in MES, ERP, and DMS tools.

Personality: Strong knowledge in manufacturing technology, process optimization, automation, lean management, and project management. Leadership experience in an international manufacturing environment preferred. Excellent communication skills and analytical thinking.

Languages: Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
