A global innovator in LED and semiconductor technologies is seeking a seasoned executive to drive regional sales strategy across Europe and the US. This company plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of mobility by delivering cutting-edge components to premier automotive manufacturers and suppliers worldwide.

We are looking for a dynamic and highly experienced Vice President of Sales with deep expertise in the automotive supply chain—someone who thrives in fast-paced, multicultural environments and can convert strategic vision into commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage regional sales teams across Europe and the Americas, focusing on Tier 1 suppliers and OEM customers.
  • Design and execute growth-oriented sales strategies aligned with global business goals and regional market dynamics.
  • Foster high performance among senior sales leaders through coaching, mentoring, and structured performance management.
  • Act as the primary liaison between regional operations and global headquarters, ensuring seamless communication on KPIs, pipeline updates, forecasts, and strategic direction.
  • Drive market intelligence efforts and business reporting to inform senior-level decision-making and competitive positioning.
  • Partner with executive leadership on key commercial negotiations, pricing strategy, and profitability optimization.
  • Oversee regional support for product launches, go-to-market plans, and brand positioning initiatives.
  • Participate in global planning processes and performance reviews, contributing a regional lens to corporate strategy.
  • Represent the organization at key industry events, customer summits, and strategic meetings.

Key Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive sales and sales leadership experience within the automotive components or electronics sector.
  • Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional teams across Europe and/or the United States.
  • Experience liaising with key internal and external stakeholders, including C-level executives, across global operations.
  • Deep understanding of automotive sales processes, procurement protocols, and industry ecosystems (Tier 1s and OEMs).
  • Strong background working within or with companies rooted in Asian business culture—ability to operate with cultural sensitivity, discipline, and hierarchical awareness.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • Fluency in English required; additional proficiency in Korean, German, or other relevant languages is a plus.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently across Europe, the Americas, and to headquarters in Asia.
