An innovative UAV scaleup in the defence sector is seeking a VP Business Development to establish their operations in the German market. The role requires leadership in business development, execution of sales strategies, and collaboration with engineering teams to ensure compliance with German defence standards.
Nature : Contract (10-20 hours per week), can be run alongside other commitments

Airbotics Talent have exclusively partnered with an innovative international UAV scaleup who operate within the defence and ISR space. They are now seeking a VP Business Development to establish their business and products in the German defence market. This includes working to establish a German subsidiary, security vetting, ensuring compliance, procurement registration in place etc before mapping out routes to and identifying sales opportunities with the Bundeswehr both through direct and partnership channels.
This role is initially on a 10-20 hour Consultancy Contract basis and can be run alongside existing permanent or Contract commitments. There is opportunity for this role to develop to a permanent position in the future.
The Role
As VP Business Development, this role will sit at an executive level and report directly to the CEO. Initially as a high impact standalone role, there is potential for the incumbent to scale a high performing Sales & Business Development team.
