This senior leadership role is responsible for shaping and executing the strategic vision across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and other Northern European markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the regional strategic plan, aligning with global business goals.
- Lead and develop high-performing country and regional teams to achieve revenue, growth, and profitability objectives.
- Strengthen market position through the promotion and adoption of advanced patient monitoring and healthcare solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, healthcare institutions, and strategic partners.
- Manage regional P&L, budgets, and pricing strategies in line with corporate standards.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels to expand market presence.
- Monitor market dynamics, competitive activity, and industry trends to anticipate challenges and shape proactive strategies.
- Foster collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and other internal teams to ensure consistent execution.
- Promote a performance-driven culture focused on engagement, accountability, and professional development.
- Represent the business at key regional conferences and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 7 years of senior leadership experience in the medical device industry, preferably in patient monitoring, vital signs, or related capital equipment.
- Demonstrated success leading sales and business operations across multiple markets and distributor networks.
- Strong consultative selling and relationship management skills with executive-level healthcare stakeholders.
- Proven ability to inspire, develop, and manage diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of healthcare systems and market dynamics within Northern Europe.
- Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- High energy, results-oriented mindset, and a passion for innovation in healthcare.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the region.
