Pearse Partners are currently partnered with a leading global investment bank to hire a Vice President into their German Coverage M&A team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing, entrepreneurial platform with strong deal flow across the DACH region, offering exposure to high-profile cross-border and domestic transactions across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of M&A transactions across a range of sectors within the DACH region
• Take ownership of client deliverables including marketing materials, financial models, and transaction documentation
• Drive due diligence processes and coordinate effectively with legal, tax, and other external advisors
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients and financial sponsors across Germany and the wider DACH market
• Mentor and support Analysts and Associates within the team

Key Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in investment banking, ideally with exposure to the DACH region
• Strong execution track record across M&A transactions (sell-side, buy-side, public and private)
• Native or fluent German language skills (essential)
• Strong financial modelling and technical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a lean, fast-paced environment
• Sector-agnostic mindset with the ability to work across industries, or previous experience in a generalist or multi-sector team
