Vice President IBD / M&A Technology (all genders)

Our client is an established and successful US investment bank dedicated to delivering world class Investment Banking advisory to public, private, and family-owned businesses, as well as financial sponsors, family offices, and other institutional investors.

With offices in strategic locations in the US and Europe, our client offers optimal solutions across the full spectrum of investment banking services.

You take a lead role in deal execution :

• Responsible for executing transactions end-to-end, including the preparation of pitches, information memorandums and financial models.
• Provide strategic advice and support to clients in the technology sector.
• Participate in management / buyer meetings.
• Assistance in drafting and evaluating various legal documents like NDAs, etc.
• Facilitation of buyer and seller interactions (organising roadshows, conference calls, etc.)
• Valuation work and financial modelling, including DCF and LBO analysis.
• Work with different client groups, such as entrepreneurs, private equity firms, and corporates.
• Managing and mentoring team members at the analyst and associate levels.

Qualifikation

• 5-7 years of relevant investment banking experience and knowledge of the German market.
• Significant experience executing M&A transactions, preferably in the technology-sector.
• Strong project management and communication skills. Ability to multi-task and execute multiple mandates and workstreams effectively, with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in financial modelling & valuation techniques
• Experience with preparation of information memorandums
• Ability to negotiate offers, deal structures, transaction documents (and key issues) and all elements of a deal consideration in an M&A and Fundraising process
• Team player & ability to work in a globally dispersed team
• Strong client focus, with the ability to work quickly and establish effective working relationships.
• Fluent in German and English, speaking and writing.
