We are looking for a Vice President, Digital Operations to lead the digital transformation agenda for Amer Sports Global Operations from our office in Garching near Munich.

As Vice President, Digital Operations, you will define and lead the business-critical digital operations agenda for Amer Sports Global Operations, known as ASGO, across manufacturing, sourcing, transportation, distribution and the broader supply chain network.

Reporting directly to the Chief Supply Chain Officer, with a dotted reporting line to the Group Chief Digital and IT Officer, you will serve as the principal digital business partner to the CSCO and the Global Operations leadership team. You will co-shape the long-term Global Operations strategy and translate it into a clear digital, data, automation and technology agenda.

This is an opportunity to build a new global capability at the intersection of Operations, Supply Chain, Data, AI, Automation and Operational Technology. You will define how ASGO uses digital innovation to become more visible, intelligent, automated, connected and scalable while delivering measurable improvements in cost, service, productivity, quality, agility and resilience.

What you will be doing

• Define and own the Amer Sports Global Operations Digital strategy, value agenda and multi-year transformation roadmap.
• Co-shape the long-term Global Operations strategy and translate business priorities into the digital, data, AI, automation and technology agenda.
• Partner with Operations leaders to transform manufacturing, sourcing, transportation, distribution and supply chain operations through digital innovation.
• Own and prioritize the Amer Sports Global Operations digital demand and business case pipeline in partnership with Group IT, ensuring investments are linked to measurable operational and financial value.
• Set the strategic direction and operational priorities for data, analytics, forecasting, AI and machine learning across Global Operations, within Amer Sports' Group-wide strategies and governance.
• Build and lead the automation agenda, including intelligent automation, workflow automation, AI-enabled processes and scalable operational use cases.
• Shape the future of Operational Technology across manufacturing and distribution, including industrial automation, robotics, warehouse technologies, connected equipment and the integration of operational and enterprise systems.
• Establish business governance, operational KPIs and value-realization frameworks to ensure accountability for business outcomes, not only technology delivery.
• Drive process harmonization and standardization across regions, brands and operational functions while balancing global consistency with regional requirements.
• Build and lead a lean, high-performing global Digital Operations organization spanning Operational Intelligence and AI, Automation, Operational Technology, Applications and Process Expertise, and Digital Operations Business Partnership.
• Define the organization, capabilities, governance, talent strategy and long-term resource plan needed to sustain the function.
• Act as the senior interface between Amer Sports Global Operations, Group IT, Brand IT and regional leadership, ensuring clear business ownership and effective collaboration within the Integrated IT operating model.
• Represent Global Operations and the CSCO in Group-level digital, technology and investment governance forums.
• Champion a business-led culture of innovation, adoption and continuous improvement across the global Operations organization.

What you need to succeed

• Extensive leadership experience in digital transformation, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, or industrial technology environments.
• Proven success leading large-scale global transformation initiatives and building capabilities from the ground up.
• Strong understanding of digital supply chain, data and analytics, AI, automation, operational technology, manufacturing systems, or warehouse technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and operate effectively in complex matrix organizations.
• Experience developing strategies and translating them into measurable business outcomes.
• Strong track record of building and leading high-performing international teams.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and change leadership skills.
• Ability to connect business strategy, operations, technology, and people into a coherent transformation vision.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Fluency in English and willingness to travel internationally.
