Job Opportunity: Service Sales Specialist at Otis

Otis is growing, and we are recruiting a Service Sales Specialist.

The main goal of this role is to achieve sales growth by creating and managing customer relationships through sales achievement, situational problem solving, and comprehensive account management. The role will be based in the XYZ territory, reporting to the XYZ manager.

On a typical day, you will:
  • Manage a portfolio of elevator units by maintaining good relationships with existing customers
  • Serve as the primary contact for timely resolution of customer inquiries
  • Develop repair and modernization sales through networking, bids, and tenders
  • Create your own sales strategy to meet sales targets and ensure profitability
  • Use Otis sales tools to track opportunities, pipeline, and forecast sales results
  • Conduct sales negotiations and close deals ensuring timely payment
  • Collaborate with team members, including other sales representatives and field colleagues
Requirements for success (adjust for local regulations):
  • Business or technical degree, or completed training as a technician or technical business administrator, with at least 5 years of work experience
  • Experience in selling technical products requiring customer consultation
  • Strong customer and service orientation, including excellent interpersonal skills
  • Effective presentation, written, and verbal communication skills to develop expectations and relationships
  • Target-focused with the ability to work in a demanding, complex organization
