Zusammenfassung

MT Management Service GmbH, part of the OHB group, seeks a Contracts Lawyer / Legal Counsel to handle national and international contract law, draft and review contracts in German and English, and advise on complex regulatory matters. The role includes supporting procurement, ensuring client requirements in subcontracting, and addressing export controls.

We - MT Management Service with locations in Augsburg and Peißenberg - are part of the space and technology group OHB. The Human Resources, Finance, Controlling and IT departments converge centrally under our roof. Your Tasks

• Independently handling legal issues relating to national and international contract law
• Independently supporting, drafting, reviewing, negotiating and monitoring contracts in German and English
• Providing legal advice to business units on contract law matters
• Supporting the sales team in drafting quotations, taking legal aspects into account
• Supporting, negotiating and providing legal oversight of procurement contracts, as well as ensuring that project-specific client requirements are met in relationships with subcontractors
• Legal assessment and handling of export-related matters

Your Qualifications

• A successfully completed degree (at least 1 state examination) in law or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in an international commercial enterprise is desirable
• Very good knowledge of contract law
• Knowledge of export control is desirable; otherwise, a willingness to familiarise oneself with this subject area
• Experience with ESA programmes and/or national/European programmes is desirable
• Assertiveness and a structured and constructive approach to work
• Business fluency in German and English; advanced knowledge of French is desirable
• Flexibility and a willingness to undertake business travel, including abroad
