Job summary

MT Management Service GmbH invites a Financial Controller (m/f/d) to join our Augsburg team, supporting monthly closes, budgeting and forecasting, and financial analysis in a manufacturing environment.

You will develop reports, maintain SAP CO and BI tools, and work closely with management and auditors. A proactive, analytical, and multilingual profile is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Strong business administration background with controlling experience, ideally in a medium-sized manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP CO (MM, FI advantageous) with strong analytical skills.
• Lucanet knowledge is a plus.
• Proactive team player with excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in German and English; Czech language is a plus.
• SQL knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements per current standards.
• Prepare internal and external reports and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Analyze financial data, identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Conduct variance analyses and advise management and auditors.
• Develop ad hoc analyses and maintain controlling tools and processes (SAP and BI).
• Prepare presentations/reports for management and support accounting projects.

We - MT Management Service with locations in Augsburg and Peißenberg - are part of the space and technology group OHB. The Human Resources, Finance, Controlling and IT departments converge centrally under our roof. With around 80 employees, we create greater transparency, ensure optimum coordination and make significant contributions to process optimization at the companies we serve, MT Aerospace and Aerotech Peißenberg.

Your Tasks

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with current standards
• Preparing internal and external reports
• Preparing and managing the budgeting and forecasting process
• Analysing financial data and identifying trends, risks and opportunities for optimisation
• Carrying out variance analyses and deriving recommendations for action in liaison with internal and external auditors, as well as acting as the point of contact (m/f/d) for specialist departments and management
• Developing and providing all types of ad hoc analyses
• Providing support and reviewing the preparation of reports of all kinds
• Developing and maintaining controlling tools and processes (SAP and BI tools)
• Preparing presentations and reports for management
• Project work in the field of accounting and controlling

Your Qualifications

• A successfully completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or an equivalent qualification
• Comprehensive expertise in business administration and experience in controlling, ideally within a medium-sized manufacturing company
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP CO (MM, FI would be an advantage) as well as strong analytical skills
• Knowledge of Lucanet would be an advantage
• A proactive team player (m/f/d) with excellent communication skills
• Fluent in German and English; knowledge of Czech would be an advantage
• Knowledge of SQL would be an advantage
