Job summary

Siemens in Germany is seeking a senior account leader to expand our cross-border market share in protection, control and substation automation. You will guide regional teams and customers on our power transmission portfolio and lead strategic engagement with key accounts.

The role requires a master’s in electrical engineering, extensive project experience, and strong intercultural and executive-level communication skills. Travel 10-20% and fluency in English and Portuguese are expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Many years of experience in protection, control and substation automation.
• Experience with virtualization, digital substations, cybersecurity, and process bus.
• Experience with power transmission operators, North America and Brazil.
• Strong intercultural competence and international collaboration.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally (10-20%).

• You have a master’s degree in electrical engineering (or a related filed) combined with many years of experience in protection, control and substation automation projects, backed by deep familiarity with cutting-edge technologies such as virtualization, digital substations, cybersecurity, and process bus.
• You have proven experience working with power transmission network operators, specifically managing customers and projects in North America and Brazil.
• You have strong intercultural competence and a proven track record of thriving in international, diverse teams.
• You have exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels, including executive and C-level stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel internationally (10-20 %), alongside full professional proficiency in English and Portuguese.
