Job summary

autarc, a Berlin-based energy-tech startup, seeks an on-site Product Management Intern to own early product initiatives and drive cross-functional execution. You will engage directly with customers, shape MVPs, and coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Tech for rapid launches.

Requirements include German at C2 level and English fluency, startup experience, and a hands-on, ownership-driven mindset. The role is on-site in Berlin (Mitte) for at least 5 months.

• Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is preferred.
• You execute, not only coordinate and show ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own early product management and cross-team execution for new initiatives, shaping value propositions and MVPs.
• Dive quickly into new topics and customer problems through direct conversations.
• Hands-on drive the launch of new digital products and services from idea to market rollout.
• Talk to customers daily to uncover pain points and validate solutions; upsell and iterate based on feedback.
• Support go-to-market with sales decks, presentations, and customer-facing materials.

About Us

Founded in Berlin, autarc is a ~80-person start-up that graduated from Y Combinator in San Francisco. Our team spans Sales, Tech, and Operations. We build software that helps energy installers plan, sell, and deliver home electrification projects faster and with higher quality.

You will work closely with the co-founder, our Venture Development Lead whilst collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Tech to drive new initiatives from idea to launch. This role is built for someone who likes ownership, moves fast, and learns directly from customers.

Please note: This position is on-site in Berlin (Mitte) and C2-level proficiency in German is required.

What you'll do

• Own early product management and cross-team execution for new initiatives: shape value propositions, define MVPs, prioritize features, align stakeholders, and coordinate Sales, Marketing, and Tech for fast, smooth launches
• Dive quickly into new topics, markets, and customer problems, building a deep understanding through frequent, direct customer conversations
• Hands-on drive the launch of new digital products and services - from first idea to market rollout - working closely with the co-founders and team
• Talk to customers daily to uncover pain points, validate solutions, and actively promote, position, and upsell new products and features while iterating based on real-world feedback
• Support go-to-market execution with sales decks, presentations, and customer-facing materials, and help the team communicate new value clearly
• Work closely with Product and Design to translate market/customer requirements into concrete product improvements and launch assets

What you bring

• Graduated from a strong university; entrepreneurial mindset
• Fluent in English and C2 German (required)
• Experience in a startup environment (or similarly fast-paced setting)
• Hands-on: you execute, not just coordinate
• Curious about how tech, operations, and business strategy come together in high-growth companies
• Structured thinker who's not afraid to get into details, run the numbers, and execute fast
• Based in Berlin and willing to work on-site (office in Mitte) for min. 5 months
