Join our team to develop digital products that make our cars even more exciting. We are looking for a Vehicle Software Engineer for our team, which builds the next generation of Porsche’s in-vehicle infotainment system from the ground up, providing our customers with an elevated driver experience.

You will be part of a cross-functional product team based in Ludwigsburg, Germany. In your role, you will be the key contact for our local and global product teams regarding vehicle-related topics. Responsibilities include integrating and testing software solutions into the vehicle, and participating in all aspects of product development for new Porsche infotainment services, from idea initiation to product delivery.

The Infotainment Product Team is part of our Portfolio Vehicle. We work in global, cross-functional teams to develop premium Porsche services integrated seamlessly into our customers' digital lives. Our success relies on global collaboration and data-driven, lean processes.

WHAT YOUR TASKS ARE

• Collaborate with product teams to ensure integration and testing of software solutions into the vehicle
• Improve global testing strategies and processes
• Support global teams with setup and maintenance of test vehicles and racks in Germany
• Assist with product demos, workshops, test drives, etc.
• Develop prototypes and technical concepts
• Evaluate technical solutions for feasibility and sustainability
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure high product quality

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG

Professional experience in automotive electronics or software development in an automotive context, with hands-on experience with Porsche testing equipment, processes, and diagnostic systems being a plus. Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, flashing vehicle software, and analyzing vehicle logs is required. Familiarity with smartphone app ecosystems, especially Android, and automotive communication protocols and vehicle architecture is advantageous. Strong communication and organizational skills, flexibility, and fluency in German and English are essential.
