• The team consists of experienced doctors, entrepreneurs and private equity / venture capital professionals and is responsible for several lighthouse transactions in the sector.
• YZR Capital manages capital for leading institutional and private investors and has invested in European health tech challengers like Scan, filu, and DeepLife.

Tasks

As a member of the investment team, you will be working in an entrepreneurial setting, contributing across the entire investment lifecycle and play a role in shaping the future of health tech in Europe. Depending on your experience, interests, and development within the role, your work may include:

• Identifying and evaluating new investment opportunities
• Leading or supporting due diligence processes, including market, product, team, and financial analysis
• Preparing materials for internal decision-making and investor communication
• Conducting deep dives into sectors and technologies relevant to our investment focus
• Engaging with portfolio companies on strategic and operational topics
• Supporting the continuous development of our investment platform through research, tools, and internal initiatives
• Assisting the partners with fundraising efforts and internal topics

Requirements

• Strong entrepreneurial, analytical and curious mindset
• Previous experience in dynamic roles such as venture capital/private equity, strategy consulting, investment banking is necessary
• Enthusiasm for new business models in the field of health tech
• Excellent academic performance and/or outstanding extracurricular activities
• High motivation, initiative, and a collaborative spirit as well as strong communication skills
• English proficiency, good knowledge of German (B2+)
