VC Stack is seeking an Analyst to join their Marketplaces & Consumer team in Berlin. This role involves supporting startup founders from inception, sourcing deals in the consumer ecosystem, and providing operational support to portfolio companies. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree and possess relevant work experience in fast-paced environments.

You will build a network, screen startups, and conduct due diligence on investment opportunities, all while working closely with senior partners in an innovative venture capital firm.

About the Position

Love venture, but bored of B2B SaaS? Then we have just the job for you! We are hiring an Analyst for our Marketplaces & Consumer team in Berlin or Munich. If that sounds interesting, keep reading.

You will be supporting founders from the beginning to the culmination of their startup journey. You will need to maintain and expand your network in the consumer ecosystem in order to source deals. You will also need to develop a point of view around consumer investing to evaluate and diligence these opportunities. In addition, you will need to work with existing portfolio companies, providing operational support, input on product/growth/metrics and supporting them in any way you can. Finally, you will be front and centre, helping Speedinvest build its brand as the leading consumer seed fund in Europe.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop a network of angels, operators and VCs to aid in sourcing deals
• Source and screen marketplace and consumer startups
• Conduct in‑depth due diligence on founders, markets, product and metrics
• Build/maintain cap tables and occasionally, financial models
• Prepare summary materials and present investment recommendations in deal meetings
• Actively monitor portfolio companies and help with key priorities, including fundraising
• Assist with special projects on an as‑needed basis

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience at startups or in a fast‑paced work environment (e.g. VC, Consulting, IB)
• Good numerical skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Dedicated work ethic, proactive attitude and commitment to a goal‑oriented environment
• Fluent in English
