As the Value Center Lead for IT ECP FPS "Financial Platforms and Services," you will lead a global team of over 100 professionals, including dedicated team leads. You will report directly to an IT board member and play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of IT services within the finance and controlling domain.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a corporate IT value center with an operational budget of approximately €50 million and a project budget of approximately €20 million.
  • Define and implement the strategic direction of the value center aligned with Siemens' overall IT strategy.
  • Serve as the primary IT partner for the Controlling & Finance function, ensuring strategic alignment between IT and business operations.
  • Establish and maintain trust-based relationships with business stakeholders, prioritizing IT projects based on business impact.
  • Ensure the stable and resilient delivery of all assigned IT services.
  • Guide and support the organization through the business transformation initiative "SHERPA X," shaping Siemens’ future IT landscape (Sherpa X aims to harmonize end-to-end processes based on SAP S/4HANA).
  • Oversee and manage external service providers responsible for IT operations within your portfolio.
  • Lead multiple Chapter Leads, serving as their direct line manager.
  • Develop and execute a strategic workforce plan for your value center in line with broader IT strategies.

What you bring:

  • Education
    • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience & Skills
    • 12-15 years of leadership experience in high-tech or engineering companies, managing large, globally distributed teams.
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills to navigate and resolve complex challenges.
    • Strong communication and collaborative leadership skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Extensive professional experience and significant knowledge in relevant functions/business capabilities, ideally in most of them; additional knowledge in areas like Legal and Compliance, Export Control is highly welcome.
    • Proven ability to foster a high-performing, collaborative work environment.
    • Deep expertise in industry-standard processes, methodologies, and tools related to digital transformation.
