Become part of a dynamic team that deals with the validation of wind turbines. In Global Engineering, you will be responsible for measuring loads on wind turbines in the Test & Prototype department.
Planning and conducting load measurements as part of certification processes for wind turbines and their components (e.g., gearboxes, rotor blades)
Installing measurement equipment and sensors on wind turbines, such as strain, acceleration, and torque sensors
Analyzing and documenting measurement results, collaborating with specialist departments to compare simulation data
Contributing to the development and optimization of plants, systems, and operating modes in cooperation with system departments
Managing projects within your area of responsibility, including providing support to international partners and measurement service providers
Enhancing programming tools and evaluation sequences used in data analysis
Coordinating with technical services and operators to implement individual system validations
Completed studies in engineering or comparable qualifications with additional certification
Relevant experience in load evaluation
Experience in applying specific standards (e.g., IEC 61400-12-1, IEC 61400-13, ISO 18436-2) is desirable
Experience with loads and vibration in drive trains is desirable
Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
Ability to work at heights, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel for short periods (including occasional international travel)
Strong communication and teamwork skills, complemented by intercultural competence
