Job Description:

As a V.I.E Software Tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating test environments and tools such as test benches, recording tools, and simulated I/O. You will specify and design test plans and cases for highly complex systems under laboratory conditions using HiL/SiL setups and test carriers. Your role includes building automated tests using C, Python, Perl, and CAPL, recording and evaluating traces via CANoe and CANalyzer, and analyzing and documenting test results.

Qualifications:
  • Meet the general V.I.E program requirements (European graduate, aged 18-28)
  • Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related apprenticeship with relevant experience
  • Experience with test equipment like HiL (dSpace), CANoe, CANalyzer, and simulation software such as Matlab/Simulink or IPG Carmaker
  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
  • Proficiency in C, C++, Python, Perl, and CAPL is desirable
  • Excellent English skills; German is a plus
