Zusammenfassung

Groupe ALTEN in Germany is seeking a testing engineer to prepare electrical and mechanical subsystems for AIT campaigns, set up test equipment and configurations, and perform hands‑on testing while monitoring hardware.

You will develop and update test procedures, analyze results, support root‑cause investigations, and document activities in line with project and quality standards, collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and system engineering teams.

• Strong communication skills in English; German a plus.

Qualifications

• Eligible to the VIE contract
• have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field
• have initial practical experience in testing (e.g., test execution, test setups, early-stage procedures or validation)
• have experience in AIT
• have a structured, analytical, and detail-oriented testing mindset
• are comfortable working both hands‑on and digitally (documentation, procedure writing)
• are neither purely manufacturing-focused nor purely software-focused — you enjoy combining hardware proximity with systematic testing
• have strong communication skills in English, German is a plus and a collaborative approach
