Job summary

ALTEN, a leader in Engineering and Enterprise IT services, seeks a motivated tester for its VIE program in Germany. You will join a multidisciplinary team, preparing electrical and mechanical test activities in an AIT environment.

The role combines hands-on testing with documentation and procedure development, requiring good English and an interest in hardware-focused, systematic validation.

Qualifications

• Eligible to the VIE contract.
• degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.
• initial practical experience in testing (e.g., test execution, test setups, early-stage procedures or validation).
• experience in AIT.
• structured, analytical, and detail-oriented testing mindset.
• able to work both hands-on and digitally (documentation, procedure writing).
• not purely manufacturing-focused nor purely software-focused and capable of combining hardware proximity with systematic testing.
• strong communication skills in English; German is a plus and a collaborative approach.
