As a UX/UI Lead within the Digital department, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping GROHE’s digital transformation by driving the evolution of our digital platforms. Collaborating with ambitious, skilled, and inspiring colleagues, you’ll gain invaluable experience and take your professional career to the next level.

Please note that this is a fixed term (2 years) contract.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities:
  • You have a direct reporting line to the Leader IT / Digital Systems-of-Engagement.
  • You are the Owner for UX/UI for our Digital Engagement Platforms and leading agile development teams.
  • Lead and mentor agile development teams, fostering collaboration and driving innovative design solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to align user interface designs with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and refine design decisions based on feedback.
  • Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across digital platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices, applying them to enhance platform usability.
  • Drive a user-centric approach by advocating for the needs of end-users throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Measure and analyze the performance of UX/UI solutions, using data to guide continuous improvement efforts.
Your Profile & Skills:
  • Educational Background: Degree in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in UX/UI design for digital enterprise solutions, with a strong track record of leading and managing agile teams to deliver user-centered designs.
  • Design Expertise: Proficient in modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Storybook, Sketch) and experienced in creating and maintaining design systems and wireframes.
  • User-Centered Mindset: Deep understanding of user research methodologies, usability testing, and how to translate insights into effective designs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work closely with stakeholders, developers, and business teams to align UX/UI solutions with strategic goals.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong solution-oriented approach with a structured and organized working style to address complex challenges effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to negotiate effectively with service providers and stakeholders.
  • Growth Mindset: Curious, self-motivated, and committed to staying ahead in the rapidly evolving field of digital design and technology.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and an understanding of their impact on design feasibility is a plus.
