Job Description:

In the Performance Chemicals Division, it is all about customized products. The division's portfolio includes plastics additives, fuel and lubricant solutions, kaolin minerals as well as oilfield and mining solutions. The customers who benefit from our innovative solutions are from various different industries, including the chemicals, plastics, consumer goods, energy and resources as well as the automotive and transportation industries.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a newly expanded team in Berlin and contribute to the digital transformation of 10 strong industrial B2B businesses.
• Design and implement effective user journeys for our industrial B2B customers.
• Build a customer portal supporting the entire customer journey from ideation, product development, sampling, product purchase, to after-sales services, based on existing prototypes.
• Understand user needs, business development goals, and create a well-structured frontend to meet these needs.
• Build on a modern, headless backend architecture to implement functionalities like authentication, product information, and commerce.
• Collaborate with specialized teams in corporate IT and service providers to adapt and implement existing technology.

Qualifications

• Degree in (business) informatics or equivalent apprenticeship with at least 3 years of experience in building modern web frontends.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, REST API, Low-code tools (e.g., OutSystems), CMS (AEM).
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks, such as Angular.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Hands-on, pioneering mindset, comfortable with building new solutions in an agile, iterative manner.
• High customer orientation to bridge coding and design effectively.
