Technical product designers create data models based on design specifications prepared by engineers and designers using 3D CAD systems. This role involves supporting the process from design specification to the completion of a virtual, computer-aided product. The focus is on design, construction, calculation, and simulation. The job requires extensive knowledge of material technology, production, assembly, bonding processes, and professional skills in shaping and design rules.

This is a three-year apprenticeship.
