Qualifikationen

Your job

1. As (Senior) UI/UX Designer you are responsible for the user interface design and the conceptual development of the Statista platform itself and the various products offered on that platform.
2. You will develop high fidelity mockups based on user flows, wireframes and existing design guidelines. In doing so, you work with a keen eye for detail and pay attention to cross-platform and cross-product consistency in the design language.
3. You are able to spar with other UI/UX Designers in the team and stakeholders to develop and refine rough and fine concepts.
4. As an experienced UI/UX Designer, you always have the user's perspective in mind and at the same time think in a conversion-optimized way.
5. You iterate each of your developed concepts from a design and user perspective together with the interdisciplinary project team and always have the big picture in mind.
6. You are able to develop interaction concepts and define basic content of the elements.

Your skills

1. You have successfully completed a degree or training in the field of interaction design, information design, communication design or similar and have several years of experience as a user interface and user experience designer for digital products.
2. You have relevant experience in working with design guidelines, pattern libraries and the application of human interface/material design guidelines.
3. You are confident in using Figma, Miro or comparable design and wireframe tools.
4. You work creatively, structured and independently and are not afraid to question ideas and concepts to achieve the best result considering a holistic user experience.
5. As an experienced UI designer, you have a good sense for innovation, intuitive ideas and designs and are always looking for new UI/UX trends to share within and outside your team.
6. Creative exchange within your team is very important to you.
7. You inspire with ideas and can give constructive feedback based on your experience.
8. You have a good command of German and English and are able to conduct meetings in English.

Your Team

In our Platform design team, we focus on the holistic optimization of the entire Statista platform to provide a positive and intuitive user experience. We work closely with our internal clients to develop customized solutions and implement them visually. We take care of a wide range of tasks, including the further development of our design system, video and motion, and topics such as branding or creative campaign conception.
