Your mission
As a UX Researcher at exmox, you’ll drive research that fuels product strategy and enhances the user experience of our consumer facing mobile app. As part of our newly built design team within the product department, you’ll lead studies, build infrastructure, and champion a research driven culture.
You’ll plan and execute mixed methods research from usability tests to surveys and interviews working closely with product managers, designers, developers, and the data team. You’ll also help establish our research repository and support insights delivery through structured documentation and stakeholder presentations.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Leading the Discovery and Evaluation phases of our design process.
- Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research: usability tests, surveys, interviews, A/B testing.
- Build and manage a GDPR compliant research repository.
- Synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights and present them to teams.
- Collaborate with the data team to integrate user research into insightful dashboards.
- Facilitate workshops to bring teams closer to user needs.
In the coming months, you’ll define user personas, set up session recordings, lead usability studies, and shape the foundation of our ResearchOps setup.
Your profile
- 2–5 years of applied UX research experience in product teams
- Strong expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods including usability testing, A/B testing, survey creation, and session recording.
- Hands-on experience with research tools like Dovetail, Hotjar, or similar
- Ability to work autonomously with a strong sense of ownership
- Experience building and managing a structured, GDPR compliant research repository
- Excellent communicator with a talent for storytelling and insight presentation
- Fluent in English; German is a plus

- Familiarity with privacy compliance in research
