An innovative AI startup is seeking a User Researcher to lead and scale user research practices for their groundbreaking Legal AI product. As a User Researcher (m/f/d) at Xayn, you’ll take ownership of building and scaling our user research practice from the ground up. Your insights will play a key role in shaping our Legal AI product, ensuring we truly understand our users and build solutions that solve real-world challenges in the legal industry. This is a strategic and hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and wants to make a lasting impact on how legal professionals work.
You will work with our two cross-functional product teams, collaborating closely with engineers, product managers, and other designers. The team consists of 6-7 developers, a product manager, and a designer, who you will support with your deep customer insights and in validating their designs.
You will report to Ruth, Chief Product Officer at Xayn, who leads the product and design strategy for Noxtua, our Legal AI solution. Ruth has extensive experience in product management and user-centric design and fosters a collaborative and agile work environment, valuing user feedback, accessibility, and innovation.
The AI startup Xayn develops Noxtua, Europe’s first sovereign Legal AI. Noxtua helps lawyers analyze and draft legal documents and research legal questions while being legally competent and compliant. Hosted in the EU, Noxtua meets high standards of confidentiality, professional secrecy, and European data protection. Powered by proprietary AI models trained with high-quality legal data provided by the Legal AI Alliance, initiated by Xayn with CMS, an international law firm. This makes Noxtua secure, independent, and specialized European Legal AI.
Founded in 2017, Xayn is based in Berlin, originating from research at Oxford University and Imperial College London. With a workforce of approximately 30% PhDs and funding of 19.5 million EURO from notable investors, Xayn continues to push the boundaries of AI in legal tech.
