In 2025, the world will come to the Rhine and Ruhr region to celebrate sport, science, and culture. Up to 8,500 athletes and officials from around 150 nations will compete in six cities for 12 days across 18 different sports. This region, with Europe's densest university landscape and Germany's most sports clubs, sets high standards—making it the perfect place for the FISU WORLD UNIVERSITY GAMES and for you.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Uniform Coordinator (m/f/d) for the period from June to the end of July 2025. This is a freelance, fee-for-service position with the implementing company of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games. The exact duration will be discussed during recruitment.

The position is based in the Volunteer Management department. As Uniform Coordinator, you will oversee the planning, logistics, and distribution of uniforms for all groups before and during the event.

Responsibilities include:

1. Collaborating closely with the Uniform Manager and the Volunteer Team
2. Managing uniform distribution to all client groups
3. Coordinating with all departments within the Organising Committee
4. Maintaining good communication with client groups in German and English
5. Supporting volunteer management

Desired skills and qualifications:

1. Relevant experience in uniform or volunteer management for large-scale events
2. Strong project management skills
3. Proficiency in Excel and attention to detail
4. Structured, conceptual, and networked thinking with a hands-on approach
5. Persuasiveness, assertiveness, organizational skills, and high emotional intelligence
6. Flexibility and an engaging demeanor
7. Fluent communication skills in German and English

The remuneration is a project fee, determined by the duration, sport requirements, and your experience and expertise.
