ProVeg International is seeking a UN Advocacy Adviser to lead efforts in reducing animal consumption at COP30. The ideal candidate will engage with international policy processes and stakeholders, bringing strong advocacy and communication skills. The UN Advocacy Adviser (all genders) supports our ambitious efforts to promote the reduction of animal consumption in line with our 5 Pros (Pro-Health Environment Animals Justice and Taste) at the annual UN Climate Change Conference (COP30) happening in Belm Brazil this year. The ideal candidate is a talented communicator & organizer with an outgoing positive and professional attitude who has experience engaging with international policy processes and a strong policy network.
The UN Advocacy Adviser will report to the Head of UN Affairs and will work collaboratively with other organizing communications research and web staff. The successful candidate will also work closely with allied organizations and volunteers across the country. The candidate will be responsible for representing ProVeg in the media to our supporters and to coalitions while performing organizational and grassroots outreach.
