In the Forecasting and Planning product line within ALDI DX, we are working to enable ALDI’s supply planning teams with more integrated supplier communication tools to improve the efficiency of ALDI’s supply chain. While maintaining our compliance with legal requirements, our focus is to expand on our current tools to create a more seamless and responsive supply planning process to empower collaboration with our suppliers.

Your Job

What This Role Looks Like.

• Collaborating with the Product Owner, product team members, users and other stakeholders to understand and refine product requirements
• Implementing and assuming ownership for quality and performance criteria
• Designing, implementing and maintaining Tableau dashboards and visualisations for a global audience in an agile team environment
• Working closely with various disciplines to understand business challenges and data requirements as well as to develop innovative analytical solutions that facilitate informed decision-making
• Implementing requirements engineering and collecting feedback, continuously improving dashboards through iterative usability testing and user research
• Integrating and optimising data from multiple sources, including SAP BW, Alteryx, SQL databases, and/or SAP Datasphere
• Conducting performance enhancements and bug fixes to increase the efficiency of dashboards
• Refining development practices and processes to ensure scalability, maintainability and user satisfaction
• Contributing your skills and expertise in software development to the product team to build a successful product
• Communicating effectively in English to collaborate with global teams
• Closely collaborating with the product team and operations experts
• Staying up to date on the latest developments and tech trends

What You Bring With You.

• Proficiency designing, implementing and maintaining interactive Tableau dashboards that effectively communicate insights
• Experience applying user-centric design principles to create intuitive dashboards that meet user needs
• Strong understanding of best practices for transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable insights
• Ability to conduct performance enhancements and troubleshoot to ensure dashboards are efficient
• Experience using feedback and usability testing to iteratively refine and enhance Tableau dashboards
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with Product Owners and cross-functional teams
  
  

Desirable extras.

• Familiarity with advanced Tableau functionalities, such as Tableau Prep and calculated fields, alongside a strong understanding of visual design principles for creating user-friendly dashboards
• Experience working with data warehousing concepts and with SAP BW, Alteryx and SQL databases to enhance data optimisation and visualisation
• Understanding of agile development methodologies, with the ability to collaborate effectively within agile teams to iteratively improve and adapt Tableau solutions
