Our Group Digital department leads the way in digital transformation, developing solutions to automate medical procedures across various business areas. B. Braun's digital products and connected devices enable new treatment possibilities, foster knowledge exchange among healthcare professionals, and ultimately enhance patient care.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design exceptional experiences for digital and physical products, from initial research to implementation, testing, and quality assurance.
  • Analyze user needs, define user flows, and structure information architectures to optimize the experience.
  • Develop screen flows and interactive prototypes following Human-Centered Design principles.
  • Conduct and document user research, using qualitative and quantitative methods to inform design decisions.
  • Plan and execute usability testing, both remote and on-site, to validate designs.
  • Collaborate closely with frontend developers to bring interfaces to life with seamless interactions.
  • Work in an agile environment, partnering with UX Researchers, Usability Engineers, Developers, Software Architects, and Product Owners.
  • Maintain and evolve our Design System, ensuring consistency across applications.
  • Mentor and support junior designers, fostering a culture of growth and learning.
  • Be part of the global B. Braun UX|UI Center of Competence, collaborating with experts and participating in knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Product Design or Psychology.
  • Several years of experience as a UX|UI Designer working on cross-platform projects.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Figma, and paper prototyping for rapid ideation.
  • Proficiency in Lean UX, Design Thinking, and Agile methodologies (SCRUM, SAFe).
  • Experience in UX Writing, UX Engineering, or UX Research is a plus.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry or a related field is a plus.
  • Very good German and English language skills are mandatory.
  • Strong ability to solve complex design problems with strategic, analytical, and abstract thinking.
  • A balance between creative, conceptual thinking and structured, process-oriented execution.
  • Proactive and results-driven, with a strong customer focus.
  • Team player who thrives in multidisciplinary, cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
