A leading construction company is hiring Traveling Mechanical and Piping Insulators for projects across the Southeast U.S., primarily on military bases. Candidates must have relevant experience and education, and will enjoy competitive pay and benefits.
Since 1996, RQ Construction, LLC. has been a leading player in the commercial and governmental Design-Build economy. We now have a presence with current projects, spanning coast to coast and internationally, including North Carolina. We offer management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations' team members working on location for each project. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus in the Department of Defense market.
We are seeking several experienced Traveling Mechanical and Piping Insulators to join our self-perform team for ongoing work across our Southeast U.S. projects. This is a traveling position, with all assignments taking place on military bases.
Current work is located at Camp Lejeune, NC, and is paid according to the Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates specific to that location.
Our Insulators will be responsible for applying insulating materials or ductwork, or other mechanical systems to help control and maintain temperature. Work involves the technical application of mechanical principles, using appropriate equipment and implementing safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.
Pay: $22.00-28.00 per hour
