Qualifikationen

As a highly motivated, proactive, and passionate Travel Specialist for Japaventura, you will plan, design, and sell life-changing trips to Japan. In this role, you will have the opportunity to deliver great customer service from first contact to the end of their trip, develop new products, and help our clients make the most informed buying choice possible.

Important: The start date for this position is June 1st, 2024.

On daily basis you will:

• Offer advice to our customers before, during, and after the trip (by phone and e-mail).
• Provide a unique sales experience by phone and email that will help us to reach our goals.
• Work on the content in German for the website: create new material on a regular basis or translate existing texts from English.
• Coordinate the trip of our guests with internal and external service providers (e.g. flights department, local providers, guides, etc.) ensuring the extraordinary quality of the trips we offer.
• Design amazing trips that will delight your customers.
• Negotiate services and prices with local service providers, getting the best deals for Japaventura and our clients.
• Put the traveler into focus and delight them with world-class customer service that addresses customer needs.

The basics that you bring along:

• Great communication skills, both verbal and written, in English, German (native level) & Japanese (a big plus).
• Passionate about being in contact with our clients (both by phone and via email).
• Good understanding of how to sell a travel product.
• Passionate about Japan and have travel experience there.
• Fun to be around, and your future colleagues enjoy working with you.
• Positive attitude and the ability to remain calm under stress.

You can impress us even more with:

• Good knowledge of Japanese for partner communication is a big plus.
• Experience in the tourism industry, especially as a tour operator.
• Sales and customer service experience.
• Software skills.
