Travel Retail Sales Manager - Munich or Frankfurt (H/F)

As a member of Chanel Export Department, reporting to the Area Manager, the general mission of the TR Sales Manager is to ensure strong business partnership, develop sales with the Local Business Partner, and implement the Brand’s strategy in Travel Retail shops. The TR Sales Manager shall frequently visit shops in their zone of responsibility and manage and train the Beauty Consultants' team. The TR Sales Manager is responsible for the respect and implementation of the Brand Image in the shops.

This position is to be filled from June until the end of January 2026.

WHAT IMPACT YOU CREATE AT CHANEL

Business Impact

  • Build and nurture strong business partnerships with Clients’ Local Buyers / Store Management Teams
  • Control & communicate stock levels of Novelties and Regular Assortments across all doors
  • Follow up and analyze Key Business Performance Indicators (Sales, Beauty Consultants performance, Ranking, Shop Trends, etc.), make recommendations, and flag risks
  • Collaborate with Area Manager/Account Manager to define, monitor, and achieve Sales Targets

Operational Excellence

  • Regularly visit POS (minimum frequency as per plan set by the Area Manager) and provide follow-up using tools provided by CHANEL
  • Ensure excellence in POS, implementing and overseeing Brand guidelines and maintaining top-level Visibility
  • Partner with Paris team for the execution of Brand Animations and premiumization of permanent POS
  • Proactively monitor the competition and airport/shop environment

Team Management

  • Support and engage the Team
  • Recruit, onboard, evaluate Beauty Consultants (~20 in total)
  • Ensure optimal coverage and efficiency of Beauty Consultants aligned with budget proposals with the Area Manager
  • Coordinate training plans with the Travel Retail Training Manager and Local Training Department; conduct training sessions for CHANEL staff and promoters
  • Create synergies with Local Affiliates and maintain regular business exchanges

The TRSM will be based in Frankfurt or Munich and will cover Germany, including airports such as Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Dresden, Leipzig, Memmingen, and Nuremberg. The TRSM will visit these airports extensively according to a validated plan, with approximately 70% of time spent on the field and at least 2 office days per month at the Affiliate’s office. Attendance at learning events (once a year), conventions (once a year), and TRSM meetings (three times a year) is required.
