About the Role:

We are looking for a Transportation Operations Specialist to manage local and cross-border trucking operations and ensure the efficient movement of goods across borders. This role involves coordinating with local service providers, monitoring shipments, and ensuring that transportation processes meet customer requirements, timelines, and cost efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Trucking Operations: Oversee both local and cross-border trucking operations, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Communication with Service Providers: Act as the primary point of contact for local trucking service providers, coordinating schedules, resolving issues, and maintaining strong working relationships to ensure efficient operations.
• Monitor Shipments: Track and monitor shipments throughout the transportation process, ensuring that all cargo is delivered on time and within budget. Address any delays or issues as they arise.
• Coordinate Cross-Border Logistics: Ensure compliance with all necessary customs regulations, documentation, and import/export requirements for cross-border shipments.
• Operational Efficiency: Continuously evaluate and optimize transportation processes to reduce costs, improve delivery times, and enhance overall efficiency.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve any transportation-related issues, including shipment delays, route changes, or disruptions, in collaboration with service providers and internal teams.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintain detailed records of transportation activities, including shipment status, service provider performance, and cost tracking. Provide regular updates and reports to management.
• Compliance: Ensure that all transportation operations comply with local regulations, industry standards, and JD Logistics' policies.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience in transportation operations, particularly in international and cross-border trucking logistics.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to work effectively with internal teams, external service providers, and cross-border partners.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly resolve issues that arise during the transportation process, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Knowledge of Cross-Border Logistics: Familiarity with cross-border transportation regulations, customs clearance processes, and documentation requirements.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail in monitoring shipments and tracking performance metrics.
• Languages: Proficiency in English and Chinese is preferred.
