Job Description :

As a Transport and Shipping Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless movement of our fashion products from suppliers to our retail locations and customers. You will be responsible for managing the logistics of shipping, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining accurate records to guarantee timely and cost-effective delivery of our goods.

Key Responsibilities :

• Logistics Coordination : Plan and oversee the transportation of goods from suppliers to various distribution centres and retail outlets.
• Shipment Tracking : Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery, addressing any issues that may arise during transit.
• Carrier Management : Liaise with shipping carriers to negotiate rates, schedules, and resolve any shipping-related disputes.
• Inventory Management : Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and shipping documentation.
• Cost Optimisation : Identify and implement strategies to reduce shipping costs while maintaining service quality.
• Compliance : Ensure all shipping activities comply with international, federal, and local regulations.
• Customer Service : Provide exceptional support to internal and external customers regarding shipping inquiries and concerns.
• Reporting : Generate and analyse shipping reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Qualifications :

• Experience : Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or shipping coordination, preferably in the fashion retail industry.
• Education : Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Skills : Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Proficient in logistics and shipping software SAP, Oracle, or similar).Analytic mindset with a keen eye for detail.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
