Your responsibilities

1. Develop new business opportunities and coordinate transformation processes, e.g., grid reserve plants, H2 / Gas-power plants
2. Manage the 'fuel switch' from coal to gas and ensure the possibility of later conversion to hydrogen
3. Manage and coordinate commercial topics for grid reserve power plants with a focus on fuel
4. Negotiate asset-based contracts with stakeholders such as TSOs and BNetzA
5. Secure optimized processes with internal (e.g., Controlling, Asset Management) and external stakeholders
6. Develop and optimize fuel supply within the existing regulatory framework
7. Identify and evaluate contract-related risks and opportunities
8. Handle ad-hoc topics related to energy economics and commercial grid management

Your profile

1. Degree in engineering and/or economics
2. At least three years of experience in the energy sector
3. High interest in energy economics, power plants (coal-fired), and knowledge of energy commodities (e.g., coal, gas, oil)
4. Experience in commercial grid management and regulation is highly desirable
5. Strong customer orientation, networking skills, commercial thinking, and self-initiative
6. Excellent communication skills for clear and concise interaction
7. Collaborative attitude and ability to work seamlessly with other functions
8. Proficiency in German and English at a professional level
