Qualifikationen

• Mindestens 2 Jahre relevante Erfahrung in der Kostenplanung.

Train Cost Manager (f/m/d)

As a Train Cost Manager, your mission is to animate the design cost within Tender and Project platforms ensuring implementation of the Alstom processes and set up a system to track and guide the development teams to achieve the cost objectives.

Key accountabilities:

1. Coordinate the whole Design to Cost studies and metiers to meet the agreed objectives.
2. Insure the transformation of the listed opportunities into validated cost reduction versus base line.
3. Be the “voice” of the Design to Cost in the Tender or Project team, insure and organize regular Steering Committees to report on the progresses.
4. Support the Product Platforms to keep track of the Spent and forecast, and support the development teams to achieve the cost objectives.
5. Ensure alignment with the product definition and put in place close communication with and between all the Design to Cost and Core Teams metiers.
6. Update at least monthly the Tender and Project Teams of costs and stakes.
7. Design and execute action plans and ensure the transformation of identified potential into validated savings.

Key Requirements:

1. You hold a Master Degree in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical background is desirable.
2. You have 2 years relevant cost planning experience.
3. You have good industrial process knowledge.
4. You are a hands-on organising person.
5. You are an excellent communicator.
6. You represent excellent customer focus.
7. You are proactive and can respond to pressing issues and challenges with agility.
8. Proficient in English and German languages.
