Your responsibilities

The Short Term Trading Solutions department in Uniper IT handles changes in IT systems supporting short-term trading and dispatch processes. The team includes Project Managers, Business and System Analysts, and DevOps Engineers responsible for large transformational projects and critical BAU items for Power and Gas activities. We are seeking an IT Operations Lead with the following responsibilities:

• Take on a visible role within an international team of DevOps engineers, architects, and project managers.
• Own end-to-end responsibility for the reliable operation and BAU change delivery of cloud-based applications in a trading environment, managing the backlog and prioritizing with stakeholders.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements through performance monitoring and quality metrics using modern tools.
• Ensure transparency of IT operations through proactive communication with stakeholders.
• Conduct root cause analyses, manage incidents, and communicate effectively during critical issues.
• Support strategic projects by ensuring IT operational needs are considered, shaping the future application landscape.

Your profile

• 3-5 years of experience in Application Management, Operations Analysis, or Operations Engineering.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure to enhance operational efficiency.
• Proven ability to manage internal and external service providers and teams.
• Deep knowledge of IT application support, incident resolution, and ITSM best practices.
• Strong analytical skills to understand complex problems and identify root causes.
• Ownership mindset for problems and incidents, with resourcefulness under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an agile environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills for clear presentation of complex topics.
• Experience with products from Volue, Kisters, ION, or PSI is a plus.
