Responsibilities :

• Contribute to desk PnL by identifying, implementing, and executing profitable trading strategies in structured products.
• Collaborate with other traders and analysts to generate new ideas and strategies.
• Develop and maintain a strong market view on European energy markets (power, gas, emissions) to support directional and volatility-based trading strategies.
• Pitch strategies to senior trading management for risk capital allocation.
• Work with origination teams or brokers to execute strategies in external markets.
• Own the position and PnL throughout the entire product lifecycle.
• Coordinate with quants for optimal pricing approaches and with risk management to ensure transparency on risks and PnL.

Qualifications :

• Relevant trading experience with a strong PnL track record.
• Deep understanding of European energy markets and commodity interactions.
• Strong knowledge of structured products, pricing models, and quantitative skills.
• Technical skills such as Python or other programming languages; database skills are a plus.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Leadership qualities and soft skills to guide colleagues and lead the team.
• Ability to manage time effectively, work under pressure, and be a reliable contact.
