CRONIMET is a worldwide specialist in stainless steel scrap, ferroalloys and primary metals. Today, the company is established on six continents with around 70 branches, participations and representative offices in the global procurement and sales markets for secondary raw materials.

As a specialised group company, CRONIMET Raw Materials GmbH - with its sites in Karlsruhe and Duisburg - is active in the trading of ferroalloys and metals (solids and powder) as well as in the grinding and screening of these raw materials. It is an integral part of the 'Raw Materials' business unit, which reliably supplies both external customers and CRONIMET companies with high-quality primary raw materials in the desired specifications.

We offer:
  • Onboarding: structured and professional orientation with support from a mentor
  • Appreciation: open and interactive communication on an equal footing with a familial working atmosphere and global corporate structures
  • Flat hierarchies: short and non-bureaucratic decision-making processes
  • Development: you will be part of a dynamic and ambitious team which will allow you to grow together with the company
  • Family, leisure and work: a healthy work-life balance is made possible, among other perks, by 30 days of holiday, free tutoring for employees' children, flexible working hours and the possibility to work remotely.
  • With you for the journey: we provide an attractive remuneration and benefits package with extensive subsidies for company pension schemes and offer a working time value account
  • Corporate benefits: childcare allowance, employee discounts, first-class staff canteen, free parking, leasing of electronic devices, regular employee events and much more.
  • Sustainability: recycling is one of our business models and we promote sustainable living and working, e.g. through bicycle leasing and e-charging stations provided free of charge.
Responsibilities:
  • Purchasing and selling of ferroalloys
  • Conducting price negotiations with our international business partners
  • Maintaining and strengthening existing business contacts and establishing new ones
  • As a team player, you will collaborate closely with downstream departments (e.g. trading administration, logistics and the warehouse)
  • Monitoring market and price developments and evaluating market information
  • Attending international trade fairs and conferences
Your profile:
  • Completed university education ideally with several years of experience in the trade of ferroalloys
  • Strong service focus combined with sound negotiation and sales skills
  • Enthusiasm for communicating with customers and suppliers in an international environment
  • Reliable team player coupled with the ability to work on your own initiative, ambition and determination as well as the willingness to take on responsibility
  • You must be prepared to travel internationally
  • Business fluent in written and spoken English
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage
