About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Director of Rewards and People Analytics, we are looking for a talented Compensation and Benefits Manager to build upon our total rewards initiatives, helping shape how we reward our people at N26 as we enter the next phase of business growth. You will be responsible for the conception, implementation, and management of compensation strategies that align with employee needs and support company goals. You will thoroughly understand and execute the compliance and regulatory landscape governing variable remuneration and collaborate with our Legal and Tax Teams on implementing regulatory changes. Additionally, you will manage our ESOP program.

In this role, you will:

  1. Manage our compensation cycles
  2. Manage compensation & benefits projects, benchmark analyses, job gradings, or job catalogs
  3. Analyze and develop fixed and variable compensation systems
  4. Work closely with leadership to maintain and manage our company ESOP scheme, driving one of the most competitive ESOP allocations in our market
  5. Design, implement, and manage all compensation issues across the organization, ensuring packages are competitive and aligned with market expectations
  6. Have at least 4 years of experience in a Rewards role within a growing organization
  7. Experience developing rewards mechanisms from scratch
  8. Experience managing compensation cycles
  9. Management of company equity / ESOP plan
  10. Understanding of the remuneration regulatory environment
  11. Knowledge of systems, focusing on process efficiencies and data accuracy
  12. Banking experience is advantageous
  13. Experience with Workday is a plus but not essential
  14. Adopt a collaborative approach, supporting projects and business stakeholders with day-to-day data requirements and understanding business functions
  15. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining agile to balance team and business priorities
  16. High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
  17. Ability to tell stories through data, with a curiosity for analytics
