Summary

For our "AI Applications Team" within the area "Radar Concepts & New Products Engineering" we are looking for a working student at the Ulm site as soon as possible.

In a team of mathematicians, electrical engineers and physicists, our goal is to provide innovative radar technology for novel as well as established radar systems. Our focus lies on the application of artificial intelligence to radar signal processing, in particular target identification and classification. We investigate AI-based solutions tailored to the present and future requirements of a variety of products.

Your Tasks

  • Support in the implementation of AI-based radar signal processing techniques

  • Autonomously test and evaluate various AI architectures for radar data analysis

  • Assist in the development and optimization of AI models using Python, specifically with PyTorch

  • Collaborate with the research and development team to contribute innovative ideas for enhancing radar processing methods

  • Analyze test results and refine models to improve accuracy and performance

  • Document your work and present findings in team meetings

  • Your Profile

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in mathematics, computer science, electrical engineering, data science or a related field

  • Strong interest in applying the latest research results, especially in the fields of AI and radar technologies

  • Experience in developing AI software, preferably with Python and PyTorch

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative on assigned tasks

  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English

  • Highly motivated and eager to learn and apply new technologies in the field of AI
