• As part of your thesis, you will carry out a feasibility study on the “Workplace of Tomorrow”. The focus will be on the design and evaluation of a digital assistant that supports purchasing processes and assists buyers. The aim of the work is to analyze how an AI-based agent can be integrated into a buyer's daily tasks.
• You will focus on the technical requirements for integrating (e.g., accessing internal systems, data sources, interfaces).
• In addition, you will have the potential to automate typical purchasing tasks—what can be done today, what can be done in the future, and what technology requirements are necessary.
• Furthermore, you will generate and visualize recommendations for actions such as user interaction—how the agent communicates with the buyer—and conduct a feasibility assessment—what tools, interfaces, technologies, and data are required.
• Finally, the results will be documented in a structured feasibility study, including recommendations for prototype implementation.
• Education: Studies in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or comparable fields.
• Experience and Knowledge: Initial experience in process analysis, artificial intelligence, or software architecture is an advantage; exposure to tools such as Synthesia, Power Automate, APIs, or low-code platforms is beneficial.
• Personality and Working Practice: Ability to organize tasks independently and communicate ideas clearly both orally and in writing.
• Enthusiasm: Interest in future trends, automation, and digital assistance systems.
• Languages: Proficiency in German and/or English.

Start: According to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months
