OHB System AG in Bremen is seeking a Thermal Engineer (m/f/d) to size and verify thermal control systems, develop thermal models, and correlate results with tests. The role includes supporting reviews and presenting findings to internal and external customers.

The ideal candidate has an engineering degree with aerospace/mechanical focus, experience in space thermal engineering, and proficiency with ESATAN-TMS, plus strong communication in English and German in an international team.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in engineering with a major in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable qualifications.
• Experience in space thermal engineering, modelling and analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of ESATAN-TMS or a similar thermal analysis software.
• Experience working in an international environment.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills in English and German.

Aufgaben

• Size and verify thermal control systems, develop thermal models and correlate with test results.
• Support system-to-equipment reviews and present work to internal and external customers.
• Perform test predictions and support thermal tests with AIT, creating test specifications and set up.
• Generate and maintain thermal control system documentation.

Your Tasks

• Sizing and verification ofthermal control systems including generation of thermal models,performance of thermal analyses and verification, validation andassessment of analysis results as well as correlation of thermal modelswith test results
• Support of reviews (from systemto equipment Level) and presentation of work results to internal andexternal customers
• Performingtestpredictions and support of thermal tests in cooperation with AIT includingcreation of test specifications and definition of test conditions and testset up including ground support equipment as well as verification andvalidation of test results
• Generation and maintenance ofthermal control system documentation

Your Qualifications
