Propulsion Test Engineer (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
- Plan, develop, and execute tests at equipment, subsystem, and system level to verify and validate space systems
- Prepare, maintain, and continuously improve test documentation, including test plans, specifications, procedures, scripts, test reports, and non-conformance resolution activities
- Specify, procure, develop, maintain, and enhance test equipment and test infrastructures
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders in the planning, organization, and execution of test campaigns, including logistics, transportation, and test setup/decommissioning activities
- Provide technical leadership and support to colleagues and advise subsystem engineers on testing methodologies, hardware concepts, and verification strategies
- Support test campaigns, launch and commissioning activities, as well as in-orbit verification of space systems while ensuring effective knowledge transfer through lessons learned and best practices
Your Qualifications
- Completed degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical qualification
- Experience working with flight, test, or integration hardware and in performing technical testing and verification activities
- Proficiency with software tools for data acquisition, analysis, and evaluation of test results
- Experience working in cleanroom environments with a strong focus on quality and safety standards
- High level of accountability, reliability, and a hands-on mindset, combined with strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel extensively and work shifts during test campaigns, launch and early operations phases, and in-orbit verification activities
